Career development at CIBU consists of workshops that help to match the student’s expertise and goals to careers, and then focus on resume building, networking, professional profile and personal (self) branding tailored to those goals.
Resume Writing Seminar
Centers on resume writing techniques and how to adapt of a variety of CV / resume formats used globally to the American workplace.
LinkedIn Profile Seminar
Concentrates on the vital role that LinkedIn plays in career development and lifelong advancement, creation of a LinkedIn profile, cultivating a network, contacting and communicating with targets and associates alike.
Personal Branding Seminar
Focuses on the active development of a personal brand in both a professional offline and online basis, including the use of popular medias including Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and more varying with industry focus.
At the series end, our students have clarity and direction in terms of their industry and organizational targeting. More importantly, they have the skills and motivation to build their professional network, along with the expertise and ability to build and present their professional profile (self brand) to them.
Using these elements, we find our students achieve their career search goals, securing the jobs they targeted in more than 90% of the cases.
